Too Much Poem by Pauline Levesque

Too Much

So many tears, so much pain,
My heart pumps blood on the floor…
It’s not in my chest anymore!

Will I be able to remember you scent?
Your smile…your lips?

Am I over dramatic?
Too insensitive..
To all over the place..
Don’t you get me?
Just too much?

You don’t get me….
I don’t stay landed long enough for you to be comfortable,
To be grounded
I am in flight, always scared..
I’m to old for this…. For these kinds of dilemma’s.
For this type of defeat.

Don’t want to be in this place of fear, doubt…
Want you but can’t seem to reach you, to make you understand.
So many words spoken between us, so little said.

I scream. I scream so hard inside my head,
I’m surprised no one hear’s, see’s the blood coming out of my ears.
