Never mind what the Bible says
about homosexuality...
after all a person's rights
are top priority.
As Christians aren't we charged with
changing our environment?
seasoning our surroundings?
we are the salt of the earth-
what use is salt with no flavor?
Never mind what the Bible says
about the gift of pregnancy.
After all a woman's rights
are top priority.
As Christians aren't we charged with
speaking for those with no voice?
How can ripping a child to pieces
be labeled 'just a choice'?
One day we will stand and explain
why, instead of God's truth and mercy,
we chose the world's approval
as our top priority.

Very, very clever. Well structured. You have a incredible style. I particularly like your last stanza - very poignant. Hits the hammer on the nail. You're simply brilliant!
