Torn Tissue Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Torn Tissue

Rating: 5.0

Work steadily
when young child,
while still vagrant
is fleet errant time.

For afternoon shadows
do creep fall slowly.
Across moonscape
adult aging mind.

Senility encroaches.
Vacant lost left
scattered. Remnant
residue thought.

Sometimes slumbers
searching skilfully,
occasionally, opportunistically;
we witnessed find.

Like torn tissues
soiled crumpled
finished. Expended
in consumed due time.

Till before wake
unhinged derangement;
is perceptible
if apparent to find.

If only when we are young we can see what we become when we age. Maybe we would live life differently. Great write which gives so much thought in the long run.
