You were spinning round
In my heart
Spinning round

It's a little too late
To relive our fate

You are the light I see
Shining in the dark
The angel who struck me
And damn it left a mark

Got me good
Had a lot to lose
And I lost you

Lost the best thing
I had for awhile
Lost the one thing
I had
To save me from myself

I regret
Every mistake I made
Doll, I need you here
Need you now

It's your time now
To take a bow
You know just where to start
To get to my heart

I lost the one thing
That ate away my mind
Couldn't figure it out
Was it ever out of line

Can't ever tell
Hid in my shell
Cuz, doll, things ain't
How they used to be
But, if you're happy
Then...
It's all right by me
