When I feel someone crying
I cry inside too
When I feel someone's sadness
I always feel blue

But when I feel you crying
I feel unfairness too
Because there aren't too many people
as good as you

I wish I could stay forever with you
just to make you smile
But I have such a distance to travel
and I can only walk this mile

But what we ever shared
or what we might hope to share again
Is kept in our hearts and helps us to grow and mend
