Toys Poem by Amanda Eckols

Toys

Its funny how they tell me
not to play with the weight
when the iron is my toy
with it I feel at home
It calms my soul, this bar
I set the weight and pounds
It is my game I'm playing
My life on the line
Just how far Im going
I've yet to find out
who is that girl?
the whole states about to find out
