Tragedy Strikes So Swift. Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Tragedy Strikes So Swift.

You see,
Tragedy strikes so swift.

You will not even see
As you see the
Lightning.

Nor hear its clap as
Thunder.

No, tragedy is too swift,
Rapacious, ruthless.

And tragedy follows upon
Tragedy.
