So many memories in our minds
As we stroll down life’s trails
Some are short and uneventful
Others there are mysteries unveiled
There is beauty along those trails
Some stay tucked in our minds
And others more easily forgotten
The unhappy ones I find
Folks we’ve met and passed on by
Leave a glimmer of recognition
As we go to the next chapter
There is only a small recollection
And other folks have left their print
Behind them when they leave
We think of them from time to time
With some folks we even grieve
But life is so exciting, I think
As we stroll with husband or wife
Because we have so many memories
As we travel those trails of life!
