Trainman, Where Is My Train? Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Trainman, Where Is My Train?

Trainman,
Where is my train,
Where is it now?

N, B.
Unconscious thoughts

Why to run unnecessarily,
Where the enquiry counter
And who is not
Outside the platform,
If the train comes in between
Going, enquiring about, walking,
Taking to high-end, low-end, uphill
Steep and straight vertical, diametrical, horizontal steps,
Running to board, catch trains
If late naturally or it is just one's habit
Of coming late and doing by somehow,
They crossing the tracks avoiding footbridges
And trains entering or on the platform,
Now say you,
What to do
They upholding pants running
Putting life at risk,
Panting like the dog?
