Transcendence Poem by T.L. Toadvine

Transcendence

Rating: 5.0

If you've ever made love to a woman
And she looked into your face
As if you were a God
You have truly lived

Don't cry to me
About the trivial matter
Of a broken heart
For you've stood on the mountain top
For one precious moment
Before tumbling back down to earth
You're a Legend
She's a Goddess
And nobody will ever know

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Nice. Loved it! Gods and Godesses are, for sure, embodiments of love. Top score
