If you could walk in my shoes
To be me for one day
To live in my past, to be the victim
To feel what I feel

To be in the darkness
To have to feel the rage
That consumes you,
Leaving you breathless

The pain that suffocates you
You feel overcome with hate
A tormented aching soul that doesn't
Understand the sickness that has taken control

A battle you fight with every new day
Could you defeat it? It steals your sanity
Drowns your will to fly
Could you be me?

Can you feel my pain?
To understand the hate inside the darkness
Could you be me? To maybe understand
The tears of a broken soul that has become me
