Traps Poem by soren Barrett

Traps

A lion from its ambush sees the lamb on open ground
How quickly, predator life does squeeze from prey with no sound
A snake's tale falls from the nest, awaiting returning dove
Inside coiled is the rest, expect no mercy from above
