Travel At Speed Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Travel At Speed

To roam
To travel at a speed
Speedier than light
To be
As of the mass universe
To be
As of the music of the spheres
To be
To be
In that vast ever-increase
Ever-expanding
To be a quark, a proton,
An atom,
A lepton,
(what more?)
To inter-transform all whiles
And in all kinds,
Restless,
Restless,
To leap
Rampart upon rampart
Squeeze
Vast energy upon vast energy
Into a dot
A tiny molecule
Or less.
To roam
To travel at a speed
Speedier than light
To be
As of the mass universe
To be
As of the music of the spheres
