Treated Her Like A Queen Poem by Randy McClave

Treated Her Like A Queen

I treated her like a Queen.

She was the woman whom I loved and cherished
To which her dreams never perished,
I gave her love and care and utmost affection
Granting her every wish was an easy selection.
I supported her dreams and also her opinions
And also her loving minions,
I always wanted and helped her to rise and win
For her, I would take a kick, or a punch to the chin.
I always treated her kind and good
How treating a woman we all really should,
Her every wish was a joyous command
Unto her I would never yell, curse or demand.
With me she never, ever did without
At her I never did scream or accuse or shout,
Whatever that she wanted to do, we always did
My pride and my love for her I never hid.
I don't know how she was raised
Or if she was ever wanted or needed or praised,
But, I wanted to treat her different
Never easy, or as an object or ever ignorant.
I treated her the way that a woman should be treated
Not used or abused or spiritually defeated,
But, she didn't like or enjoyed that form of life
So, she left me, for sadness and strife.

She wanted to be treated mean.
