My roots are sown deep into the earth
No matter how much dirt you dig
I will stand my ground
My branches reach to ever burning stars
In the hopes they will sing
We are never just too far
In my head the message is clear
In my eyes I see possibility
I eat the wisdom from the arms
Of the tree of life
My leaves shine in the bright glowing sun
Forever strong against the autumn breeze
I will hold my post
My bark is stronger than your jagged words
Armored with everything I hold dear
The reasons to go on
With the serpents at my roots
And the eagle so high above
I will never become blinded
By your hate or your love
With the noose on my left
And the apples on my right
You may seek your clarity
Or the strength to continue the fight
I'll feed your wonder, I'll feed your mind
The wheel will always keep turning on
I'll bring you wisdom, I'll bring you knowledge
I will never steer your wrong
The tree of life
