- They are Life
In its Majestic Quiet form.
Collecting Wisdom
For countless years. Or,
Are they the very essence
Of Wisdom itself.
- Remaining still
In unity with Earth,
Peaceful and Trusting.
Patient and Loving.
- Minute their needs are,
The Center of life they become.
They give sustenance to all.
In harmony with Nature's moods,
Adapting and Accepting.
Supporting and Providing.
- Keen in awareness
Of the few important elements
Air, Sun, some Earth and Moisture
- No need to talk, fly or walk.
Ever quiet at the same spot
They are what they are.
- Legs, wings and brains
Are of no use
When one with Humble needs
Stands without fear,
And with deep roots.
- One end within mother Earth
The other up to father Sun
They stand with plain gratitude.
- Their mysterious nature
Safely hidden in silence.
Pure Spiritual beings
They are what they are.
- Trees,
- The most blessed
Life-forms on Earth.
