Tremendous Fools Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Tremendous Fools

Why is it,
When a discovery is made...
The very ones disbelieving this,
Are the ones spending their time digging...
To seek for more salt to pour into open wounds.
Or dirt to dump on someone thought to be familiar.
But reveal themselves tremendous fools in the process.
