'Trimming The Tree' Poem by Angie M..

'Trimming The Tree'

'twas the night before carols
and all through the halls,
the season's silence was ending,
once and for all.
Hereafter the rebels,
will be singing good cheer,
before departing to their homes,
where family draws near.
'twas the night before carols,
bells will ring through all sorrow,
familiarity across,
will ease in tomorrow.
