Trouble Finds Me Poem by Ryan Davis

Trouble Finds Me

I can tell myself
it's going to be OK.
I can assumed assurance
that it's gonna be alright.
I can convince myself
there is no reason to believe
trouble is brewing.
Yet, trouble always finds me,
it always do.
I don't have to start something,
it'll just barge in,
wreak havoc,
and my vulnerability will flow
like blood from a wound.
And mercy
will be of no concern,
for I will be caught up
in its treachery
to no choice of mine.
And yet
I'll still be telling myself
like a broken record,
it's gonna be OK.
Why?
Hell if I know.
