Trouble In Disguise Poem by Damian olatunde Ogedengbe

Trouble In Disguise

I had my shield up,
To make me less vulnerable,
From the sleeping demons,
Among the walking angels,

Your love seemed a fairy tale,
I felt at peace but curious still,
Could i wait for time to tell? ,
That it was all an art of deception? ,

I started to see a stranger,
In who i once saw a lover,
I thought you were my peace of mind,
Alas, you were a trouble in disguise.
