The Thin Line Poem by Damian olatunde Ogedengbe

The Thin Line

Rating: 5.0

You trusted the River with your body,
Even though you knew you couldn't swim,

You trusted Gravity with your body,
Even though you knew you couldn't fly,

You trusted Fire with your skin,
Even though you knew you weren't gold,

The thin line between trust and stupidity,
Is the truth you've always been told.
