True Comfort With My True Love - Poem by Michael P. McParland
True comfort in this world for me
is spending time with my true love
no matter how that may be.
Seeing each other was always best
and when it happens again
I'll cry out in joy and say I love you dear
I'm so truly happy you're here.
I know in my heart and soul it will happen,
I pray sooner than later.
Sitting and talking rather in person,
on the phone, or on the computer
was always bliss in a manner because
I was spending time with my dear Angel.
We were sharing ourselves and our time
not even noticing it as it flew on by.
True comfort here on this earth is time spent
with my Queen and Angel I so treasure in full.
I treasure all the love that you give me
because even now I feel its comfort
from so far away in its strength to cross the distance,
I'm sending you mine and I hope it gives
you comforting peace as well.
I love you sweet Kira you are all I want
in this life and into the next.
You are my Angel and best friend,
my righteous Queen and you truly mean
everything in the universe to me.
You are true comfort sweet Kira and I thank you dear,
so soon I want to hold you near,
thank you so deeply as I hold you closely
and tell you I truly love you and will
always be here my sweet precious Kira.
You are true comfort in this often lonely world,
Kira my Angel you're the greatest there is.
