True Love Poem by Justina Nicole Haner

True Love

She walks outside in the misty, sunny morning
On the table on her porch lays a single red rose
She takes it off the table and smells its fragrant perfume

She smiles knowing he left it there for her to find
He left it because he knows the roses he leaves makes her smile
The knowledge of him leaving that rose for her makes her feel warm inside

Suddenly she realizes that this is true love
He makes her so happy and makes her feel beautiful
She thinks true love isn't as scary as it seems
