True Love Poem by Mark WilliamYoung

True Love

Rating: 5.0

Standing in the snow waiting for you to arrive
I see you coming, so nervous I could die
Walking towards you with an anxiously smile
Knowing in my head that you want to be mine

The happiness in your eyes and your cute little face
This is going be hard, but it has to be made
Grabbing your hands in mine while trying do describe
That our relationship is over, our love was just a lie

You may ask me why I did this to you
The answer is simple, the love must be true

Love is a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly. One cannot continue to deceive another that it's there while it is not. A well articulated piece of poetry nicely penned. Thanks for sharing.
