True Worth Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

True Worth

A man's true worth comes...
From the family's he's made.
The work he's done
And the love he's won.

He has to give
Not just provide.
His family's needs
In all he tries.

He has to be able
To open his heart.
Take any hurt
That could tear it apart.

And when it's time
To tally his life.
Treasure life's gifts.
Before passing in the night.
