Trust Poem by Pink Pixie

I have always trusted you with my whole heart,
But now your secrets have ripped that trust apart.
How can I believe that this time what you say is true?
Will I ever again be able to truly trust you?
I could never have imagined that I would end up here,
Doubting each word and consumed with so much fear.
Oh how I wish that I could turn back time,
When my heart once trusted that you were truly mine.
So afraid to get close, yet more afraid to be apart,
Desperate to move on, yet unsure where to start.
