Little Girl Lost Poem by Pink Pixie

Little Girl Lost

Rating: 0.5

Little girl lost, oh where can you be?
Your bright eyes and sweet smile, now lost to me.
Forever alone and always so afraid.
Would things have been different if only you had stayed?

Darkness falls like an endless rain
Sorrow and despair, an all consuming pain.
Countless searches, the questions never end
Guilt and anger now your only friends.
A broken heart, a wounded soul
Never to be healed, unable to feel whole.

Little girl lost, oh where can you be?
Why can't I find you, help set you free?
Unbind your heart so battered and scarred,
Allow in the love that distance has barred.

Little girl lost can you ever be found?
If you cry out, would there be any sound?
Little girl lost, oh where can you be?
Constantly running-yet still trapped inside me.

strong emotive and devastatingly nostalgic..... even if Salvador dali's clocks are dripping all over the walls....their time remains unidirectional... a moment lost is lost forever....as much as the PINK.... we grab and clutch at straws and strings but..... lovely poem....superb talented job loved it :) ***

An interesting punch line there, at first I thought you were talking about your daughter. Read mine -Sympathic Pain - Adeline
