Trust



I will lay my bleeding heart before you
and open up my soul for all to see
knowing you may trample it in rejection
but honesty alone will set me free

walk softly where I open myself to you
I show to you my fears and hopes and dreams
go past the bright facade I show to others
to where my life is tearing open at the seams
