Dearest Dove, It all began so well,
With joy and peace on our face,
No fear in this fresh love to tell,
To anyone in this unexpected case.

The seed just has been sown,
Of this fresh love that we know,
The danger all around is already on,
It is painful, alas! the pain we can't show.

Our foundation is from above,
So, let us not fear,
God is our strength and our first love,
So, joy and peace be with you, my dear.

Fear not, I'm won't be hurt, my dearest peep
Neither you should ever be,
We learn new things taking in faith a leap,
It doesn't matter if together we'll never be.

Is not God our first love?
Then I chose you and you chose me,
Why should we ever be sad, my dear dove?
When God's love with us always going to be.

Dearest Dove, are we both heartless?
Forbid me! if we depart and shall not weep,
Also, are we both that faithless?
That without each other we'll both sleep.

Will you promise me, will you; just one?
That you'll never abondon our first love,
If you'll, even you stay with some one,
Remember, I won't be hurt, my dearest Dove.

I might meet many lasses, only one I can have,
Alas! Someone else on the unknown shore,
I can but like you with them I might not behave,
You are unique and I'll find like you no more.
