Truth Poem by Sudam Panigrahi

Truth

Sometimes
it is white lies
that serve
and truth
devastates.

Sometimes
truth must be suppressed
and must be understood
than being carried away
by smoky lies.

It's up to you
what you want to hear
and how you can be
pampered
whether you want enlightenment
in the beginning bitter
or a smokescreen
succulent and full of colors.

Beautiful poem. I loved these lines the most It's up to you what you want to hear and how you can be pampered whether you want enlightenment in the beginning bitter or a smokescreen succulent and full of colors. Very true said, it upto us, whether one is ready to hear or listen truth or one want to cover truth. Again some times the truth had to be remain hidden is better than telling truth. Truth often taste bitter but if there is a way of telling truth in a beautiful way, then there is nothing like it. I loved the theme and beautiful way you have presented it. Loved reading it. Thanks for sharing.. Here I am telling truth........Smiles.
