Truth Or Dare Poem by Gabriella Franco

Truth Or Dare

As we lie close, talking like we do
I find a question i'd like to ask you
'truth or dare? ' i say and smile
You smile at me, and think for a while

'Dare.' You say. of course you would
Say EXACTLY what my love should
'okay then, darling i dare you...
let me think... i dare you...

To stay with me forever, always.
Say you love me, every single day.
Marry me, baby, make me your wife.
Say you need me in your life.

I dare you to never hurt my broken heart
Never ever ever make us part
I dare you to smile when i say 'i love you'
And never fail to say that you love me too.

Hold me when I need you and never forget
You're the most amazing person I've ever met.
Promise me your eyes will never burn with hate
And that we will never ever go our seperate ways

I dare you to love me, with all of your being
And that you will never regret feeling this feeling
Of love and adoration- that i know you feel
I dare you, Darling, to remember this is real.'

You stare at me for a moment, that seems like eternity
I wonder what you're thinking, and if you think I'm crazy
Then you straighten your face and you cooly say
'Okay... truth or dare baby, it's my turn to play'

'Dare.' I say, you knew I would
Say EXACTLY what your love should
'Okay, baby, then I dare you to
Start beliving what I say to you.

How many times have I told you that we would never part?
How many times have I promised I wouldn't break your heart?
Baby everything you just said, I've already promised you
I've already told you, I'm yours and my heart is too.'

i smile and i say 'truth or dare' to you
And you calmy say to me... 'truth'
'i love you baby....im so in love with you'
'i love you too, Angel... and THAT is the truth.'
