Nothing is done out of place
Nothing is said out of context
Everything proceeds from some place.

Truth speaks in many ways
either through a slip of tongue
or through a casual joke.

When we’re open to life
We’ll see truth revealing
itself in all its ways:
beneath the gestures,
beneath the walk,
beneath the smile.

within the friends we choose,
beneath the clothes we wear,
beneath the hobbies we elect.

Truth can never be bottled-up
or locked away in hiding
It will reveal itself in subtle ways.

If we are patient and watchful
We’ll find truth
revealing itself in many ways
and even unintentionally.
