You may pry me
And I will never defy thee
Give me Your laws and I'll abide thee
Give me Your love, You already have my heart.
You've given me a head start.

I've been tried
You've been denied
By many that have not learned Your Word
So I help to make You heard.

Trying, in a world that needs your light
And to those who in evil do delight
We that are privileged do ignite
Your love to be shown bright bright white

We are one, we are separate
All together, You we aggrate.
Try us, make us true
So that we may learn to be more like You.
