We are trying
Trying so hard
To survive
One breathe at a time
Most days are hard
Some days are harder
But today is the hardest
It's amazing how we keep dreaming
Every night
Of a new dawn
Maybe it's hope
Maybe it's just a wish
But I think it's a miracle trying to break out
From where it's trapped
