Trying To Move On Poem by kiara o'connell

u were my light at the end of the tunnel
u were my world, the air that i breathe.
but now its dark and im gasping for air
why did u have to leave?

u showed me a bright perspective of life
and for once i actually felt loved and not hated.
but now your gone my life is dull and it sucks
and now all i feel is jaded.

im gonna try and pick up the pieces of my broken heart
even though its gonna be hard since i feel so torn apart,
im going to put up this umbrella and try and get out of this rain
im gonna try and move on like you, and love and be loved once again..
