Tsunami Echoes Horrific Tragedy Blossoms

Rating: 5.0

The suddenness
of tsunami Japanese
reaped raped our lives,

stole solid foundations
of Japanese happiness
generations planted,

it was a wave time
of nightmare unbelievable
horrific devastation,

great sorrow
suffering laid coastal
land waste;

our splintered tears
were waste rubble,

ghosts of strangers
lost mindless haunted
our common humanity,

in rebuild time
we were proud
of a resilient noble
Japanese spirit,

which bonded
in community
giving serving;

honouring
deleted dead,

lives lost,

families
loved ones
stripped from us,

by rebuilding
with purity strength
beauty crafted art;

replacing moments
of unspeakable tragedy
by honouring lives lost,

with shining beauty
of years of special
fond favoured memories,

where family
friends neighbours
live on in beautified
warm memories.

Godspeed blessings
upon your futures
new birth growing,

may glorious
cherry blossoms,

season your lives
with pastel visions
of beauty healing,

in the perfume
of flowering fragrant
love blooming.
