Tu Est Venu Poem by Steven B Taylor

Tu Est Venu

Love

Tu Es Venu

Opus 34

You came
When I was not expecting you.
You sat down in a chair
On the terrace of the cafe.
You took, then drank, a glass of wine.
You raised your eyes
And suddenly
Your presence justified
The glass on the table
Placed in front of me,
The movement of the branches
Above the fountain,
The noise of the water,
The sound of voices.
For the first time
Life existed
And was not content just to be.
