A velvet carpet made of green
Surrounds me as I ponder,
This beautiful setting, so serene
Makes heart and mind both wander.

The pillows of the clouds above
Could take my weary head.
The warmth of sun upon the cove,
They seem by nature wed.

The waters of the river swift,
Descend from hill to vale.
This moment I would like to drift
Upon them to the dale.

I can no other place on earth
Compare with this great setting.
It lifts me up, beyond my birth,
