When you've been mistreated
turn the other cheek
when your heart breaks when you see something beautiful destroyed
try to turn the other cheek
I know so much of sadness
but it still hurts when its one who you care for
beyond your own desire
They once brought you joy
Turn the other cheek
Someone else is watching and knows what is on the inside
what matters is what is true
not how you're judged
Turn the other cheek
because the one who judges you
is somoene you care for and always will
Turn the other cheek
Though it hurts and its hard
bite your toungue
Forgive
What matters is not how you're perceived
but what you are, what is in your heart
turn the other cheek
sometimes we fail
sometimes it feels too much
remember that you care
turn the other cheek
but don't go back there, where you're mistreated
and thought of lowly
that will only bring more sadness
and there has been enough sadness
trust there is a reason
turn the other cheek
