Turned Down - Poem by victoria mbali

Just when I thought
I see the light
Big block of bricks builds up in front of me

Just when I thought
yeah, I'm going
I see my path
The path folds up right in front of me

Just when I thought
I'm flapping my wings and flying
My air bag blows up, flying down I go

Why can't things turn up sometimes?
