They can't
Watch TV
Together

So they are
Watching TV
Separately
Away from
Each other

He upstairs
She downstairs

Gone are the days
When TV brought
Couples together


(Wrote this after observing our neighbours; the couple spend prolonged hours watching TV but in separate rooms as they have 2 TVs. I guess it's part of a growing trend/culture wherein couples value individual freedom more than mutual/collective choice when it comes to selecting programs which could be enjoyed with a shared choice.)
