Twelve Lines - Poem by Joyce Hemsley
Please read this little poem
twelve lines from my heart
written for you and you alone
saying 'all the things you are'.
I compare you to a sky of blue
mottled with clouds of white
and maybe a beautiful love song
sung on a summer's night...
For you are my Star of the Orient
you are Gracelands, Tennessee,
the Brooklyn Bridge, Niagra Falls
You are the world to me.
