Twilight Poem by Shane Clift

Twilight

Rating: 5.0

Raging attraction, forbidden love heats within my soul
The reflection from your halo blinds my worldly sight
Without you here, feeling scared
Never again will you leave me behind
Mistakes made different options tried
Back to the beginning longing emotion stronger yet felt
Life is not complete without you near
Say you love me
Say my name
All my fears melt away
After midnight morning will rise
Another day started a new twilight to come
Forever will start when my heart halts
With grace I vow my love eternal
Another love does not exist
More than an addiction my soul is on fire
Twilight is near put my fragile body to sleep
Wake me with new immortal eyes
Forever is not long enough
