In the twilight of our lives
All that we need is a mate
Someone to watch the sunset with
Someone to smile at, when we wake.
In the twilight of our lives
All that we need is a companion
Someone to spend our time with
Someone we can trust n confide in.
In the twilight of our lives
All that we need is a chum
Someone we can go to the movies with
Someone we can call at 4 am.
In the twilight of our lives
All that we need is someone called 'mine'
So we can hold each others hand
When we are living on borrowed time.

Don't know why but the painting appears quite dark here. Most of the tree is lost. It has a lone bird sitting on a branch, gazing at the sunset :) Decided to do away with the sun too as the horizon had enough yellow in it. But not showing here....Painting is much more beautiful than what appears here :)
