Twins



Though we may not know
We are half-twins
Pining for our lost ones
Who, betrayed at conception
Depart at birth
Abandoning us to our fate

Our tracks cross, sometimes
And leave us with an inner glow
Wondering who was it,
who touched us
In magic moments of pure bliss
Leaving us feeling, in the here and now
All things are possible
