Twirl Me - Poem by Dean Meredith

Eyes roll
Round and round
Like planets
In orbits
And whirl
Through rainbows
Of cosmic dust
And glide
Silently
Through time
And bend
With breath
In gravity
And suns
Reach out
And moons
Withdraw
And a universe
Looks on
Lives on
Laughs on
To its own
Skipping beat
And little feet
Softly step
And sometimes dance
On the same
Shifting sands
Where friends
And lovers meet
