Two Colored Flags Poem by Randy McClave

Two Colored Flags

Of Two different flags men are cut from
One of these two flags will dictate a woman to leave or come,
These two flags describe every man to the tee
Both these flags describe a man most honestly.
When a man uses a woman for his needs and for his bed
Then his flag is always most certainly colored red,
But, when a man sees and treats his woman like a Queen
Then his flag is always most certainly colored green.
When a woman is looking for a future with a man
Marriage must also be his most ultimate plan,
This is how these men are known and honestly described
On their soul, "Red" or "Green" is already inscribed.

When a man believes that he's too hot to handle
When he believes that he's a very hot slow-burning candle,
And when he is always being and acting very sarcastic
It is because he thinks that he is quite fantastic.
Unto a woman he will never ask her, "will you marry me"
Well, why should he since the milk is always free,
And if she's the one proposing for marriage instead
Then, "No", "No", "No", he will always swing his head.
If he is in a relationship, or if he's out on a date
Remember this, he always replies to all his texts very late,
Sadly, these are his boasts and also his brags
This is him showing off his true red flags.

When a man is 100 percent marriage material
She will see his smiling face on the box of her favorite cereal,
He'll always be looking at you and never at her
And also he's always a very good listener.
Yes! one day he will want to marry you
He will know for all certainty that you both were destined to be two,
He will get on his knee and with his love he will then confess
Then he will plead to God that you will say, "Yes".
You'll always see him excited and always exploring
You'll never see him as dull or ever as boring,
Excitedly these are his boasts and also his brags
This of course is his true green flags.

These are the type of men from which a woman can choose
One will give her a smile, the other a bruise,
With one she will live with as a wife with many happy assets
And with the other, she is a freeloader, with many regrets.
