Two Feet Dissappearing Poem by Franklin Spriggs

Two Feet Dissappearing

I past a man upon a street,
A friendly one I'm sure to say,
A cheerful smile, a pleasant hello,
As he went upon his way.

I turned again to see the man,
Whose face was all so bright,
My eyes were filled in amazement,
He was no where in my sight.

I looked to my left, then to my right,
I searched all around,
I was really quite astonished,
He was no where to be found.

Had I encountered an Angel,
As I went on down the street,
For an unknown reason I looked up,
To see the bottom of two feet.

Such a marvelous experience,
To confess it plain and loud,
I saw two feet above me,
Disappearing in a cloud.
