Two Men Poem by Sandra Black

Two Men

It took me so long to find you
But it took no time to know you
I felt it instantly
A deep connection electrically

I may never touch you
I may never see you
But know this that
My heart has seen and read your soul

It is a deep mystery bound
In deep layers of thoughful acts
Of a crazy year and loving tact
Sill so much to be had

A promise of a tomorrow
Why does it hold only sorrow?

It took me so long to know you
And there is still parts of you a mystery
We have had our share of history
But I rue the day I met you

I touched you
I saw you
But know this that
My heart cannot see or read your soul

It is a deep mystery bound
In deep layers of thoughtless acts
Of crazy years and loving fruits
But still completely un-had
