Two Roads Poem by Pedro Rubio III

Two Roads

Two roads split on a yellow line
The choice of which to take is mine
I try to see what is at each end
But can to matter the time spent

Both from a start seem rough
But standing here not choosing I’ve had enough
Days have passed, I have to choose
But I’m afraid of what I will loose

Yet, I am stuck
Thinking that I am in love.
Outweighing the costs
Wasting my life, I think I am lost.

I feel I may be here forever
Waiting for something better.
Destiny show your face,
Show me where is my better place.
